Charles R. Hazel II ("Chuck") went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2024. Chuck was an avid waterman and lifelong resident of Lewes Delaware. He spent a lot of his years clamming in the Rehoboth Bay. In addition to the water Chuck had a passion for wrestling and spent many years coaching and mentoring kids in the wrestling community. Chuck was a dedicated son, father, friend and most importantly Pop-Pop. Chuck was the definition of selfless and will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
Chuck is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Truitt and his brother, Joe Hazel. He is survived by his father, Charles Hazel Sr., his sisters, Lynn Walsh (Randy) and Traci Garvens , his sons: Charles Hazel III (Nikki), Mathew West (Amber) and Brandon Hazel (Kinsley); his lifelong partner, Lisa Franklin and stepdaughter Samantha Shockley; his grandchildren: Morgan, Jazear, Brooklyn, Melina, Lincoln, Nolan, Stella, Davina and Kentley, and Great Grandchild: Katelynn.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Sussex Central Wrestling Boosters in Chucks Honor: 26026 Patriots Way, Georgetown DE 19947. There will be a celebration of life held at the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, 32628 Oak Orchard Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966, on November 30th at 3:00 PM
