Obituary

Daniel A. Andrade, of Delmar, passed away on Friday, July 19th, 2024 at his home. He was 17 years old.

He was born on February 9, 2007 in Seaford and was the son of Teodoro A. And Missie L. Brumley Andrade.

Daniel attended Delmar High School  and was a sophomore.  In his childhood years, He played a variety of sports including soccer, basketball and  baseball for Delmar Little League. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the New England teams, and had a deep admiration for Tom Brady. In addition to his sports background, Daniel was involved in Cub Scouts in Delmar and was a Boy Scout in Troop 90 of Laurel.

Daniel had a wide range of interests and hobbies. He loved old cars and had a particular fondness for  them. He was passionate about shoes, especially Crocs, and had a collection that he cherished. He was also fond of lego's and those who knew him knew this. His fascination with sharks and turtles was well-known to his family as well. Daniel also enjoyed fishing, playing video games, and loved working with his hands, always eager to fix or create something new.

He is survived by his parents, Teodoro A. Andrade and Missie L. Brumley Andrade, his sisters Alexis Andrade and Veronica Andrade, and his paternal grandparents Ladislao Andrade and Sofia Andrade. He is also remembered by a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gwynneth Brumley and Glenmore Brumley.

A service to honor Daniel's life will be held on Saturday, July 27th at 4:00 PM at Fruitland Christian Church, 605 St. Lukes Rd, Fruitland, MD with  Pastor Shawn Short officiating. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are in the care of Coffin Cremations, 118 Park Ave, Seaford, DE 19973.
