Donald (Donnie) Charles Mitchell Jr., 74, of Millsboro, DE, peacefully departed on Oct. 31st, 2025,  at Beebe Medical from heart failure.
A true native of  "lower slower Delaware" and an expert crab wrangler, affectionately known as "Pop Crab," Donnie is survived by his loving granddaughters Kylei and Sky, daughter Jayme, sister Gail and brother Theodore.
A lifelong carpenter by trade, Donnie took great pride in his work and found joy in the simple things- the outdoors, a good book, tending his garden and keeping his resident wildlife well fed.
He will be dearly missed,  never forgotten and forever loved.
A private memorial service will be announced at a later date.
