Joseph B. Lord IV "J.B.", 62, of Seaford, DE passed away suddenly on February 13th, 2026 at his home.

Born on September 17th, 1963 in Seaford to Lois H. Lord and Joseph B. Lord III, J.B. had been a native of the town his

whole life and was loved by so many.

He attended both Seaford Senior High School and Sussex Vocational High School, and after graduating, enlisted in our United States Marine Corps, serving four years and

getting to travel the world while doing so.

J.B. was a very talented man, with a plethora of traits many others could never begin to obtain. A father, husband, grandfather,

animal lover, foreman, mathematician, teacher, UFC expert and movie/TV show buff, just to name a few.

Survived by his wife, JoAnn, children, Jason and Jenna (Francisco), grandson Eden, and brother Dennis of Port Charlotte, FL; J.B. will be missed by many others and never forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held privately with his family and close friends at a later date.
