Kevin Elmore, 59, of Millsboro, Delaware, passed away on June 7, 2026.Born on March 14, 1967, in Baltimore, Maryland, Kevin was a man whose larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He never met a stranger and had a remarkable way of making everyone feel like a friend. Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Kevin could always make people laugh and brighten even the toughest days. Kevin had a passion for music and was an accomplished bass guitar player. He loved attending concerts and was known for his incredible knowledge of bands, musicians, and songs. Whether discussing classic rock, sharing stories, or enjoying live music, Kevin’s enthusiasm was contagious. He also enjoyed spending time at the horse track and the casino, places where he could enjoy the excitement and camaraderie he loved. One of Kevin’s greatest joys was bringing people together. He loved cooking for family and friends and took pride in feeding those he cared about. He was also a true Marylander at heart who never passed up an opportunity to sit down with loved ones and enjoy a pile of steamed crabs. The conversations, laughter, and memories made around those gatherings meant the world to him. Kevin is survived by his son, Nicholas Elmore and wife, Lindsey Elmore; his son, Tyler Elmore and Brittany; his mother, Ann Elmore; his brother, Jeff Elmore and wife Sandy and his beloved grandchildren, Colton, Addilyn, Mia, and Delilah. As well as his Nephews and Niece. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ann Dodson and Porter Dodson; his paternal grandparents, Mary Elmore and Larry Elmore; his father, Thomas Elmore; and his grandchild, Bennett Elmore. Kevin’s greatest gift was the joy he brought to others. His laughter, friendship, and ability to make everyone feel welcome will be deeply missed by his family and countless friends. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the music played, and the laughter of those who loved him. Forever loved, forever missed. Kevin will be cremated and there will not be a viewing. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
