Nikki Louise Murphy, aged 45, of Seaford, Delaware, passed away May 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 4, 1980, in Baltimore, Maryland, Nikki was a radiant spirit who touched the lives of everyone around her with kindness, laughter, and love.

Nikki is survived by her devoted husband and high school sweetheart, Will Murphy, and their cherished son, Curtis Murphy, along with his wife Jazmine, her father, Emmett Wilson, and siblings, Michele White, Roxanne Smith (Jonathan), Shannon Wilson, and Emmett Wilson Jr. (Alissa Wallace).  Extended family, including her step-brother Timmy Rinehults and his children Lil Timmy, Harley and Nicholas, granddaughter Journee Murphy, nephews Cameron Smith, Jordan Smith, and Burt Lancaster III, nieces Brittany White, Brandy White, Izzy Wilson, Piper Wilson, Remy Wilson, and Sarah DeRoche, great nieces Aubree, Ava, and Everleigh, girlfriends that should have been sisters; Tasha, Mer Mer, Vera, Liz, Chrissy, and Tiesha as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins, will all fondly remember her warmth and affection.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Brown; step-mother Val Nahorny; nephew Nicholas Rinehults; great-nephew Lil Man and grandparents Curtis Brown and Pearl Brown. Each of them held a special place in her heart.

Nikki delighted in capturing moments, turning family gatherings into cherished memories through her love of taking pictures and video, which she always shared.  A lover of games, Nikki enjoyed many spirited rounds of Uno and Spades, and could often be found engaging in lively competitions in video games with her brother-in-law, Jonathan. Her love for movies, music, wrestling and football, brought joy to her life and those around her, creating a vibrant atmosphere that was always welcoming.

Following a stroke, Nikki demonstrated remarkable resilience and creativity, channeling her energy into building a birdhouse during her occupational rehabilitation. This creation was a testament to her determination, will and love for nature.

Her family invites those who knew her to reminisce, celebrate, and honor Nikki's life, by sharing memories to Nikki's memorial page.

Though she has departed this world, Nikki's legacy of love, laughter, and resilience endures in the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and eternally remembered.
