Patricia Jane Tifft, 78, of Seaford, Delaware passed away on July 20, 2026. For several years she fought with quiet determination against ovarian cancer. Now that fight has ended and she can rest easy. She will be greatly missed by so many family and friends.

Patricia, Pat or Patty (she went by many names) was a native Delawarean. She was born in Seaford, Delaware in December 1948 and chose Seaford as her home for her entire life. She married Henry Tifft in 1968 and eventually they built a home and settled on her family's farm just outside of town. There she raised her two children, Bryant and Jennifer who continue to live in Seaford with their own families.

Patricia was a lover of colonial and folk art decor and it showed in her beautiful collections of pottery, baskets, art and dishware. She had many favorites and she would travel far to procure just the right piece. As a proud Seafordian she spent many years working and making friends within the Seaford School District. She was a devoted Grandmother, Sister, Daughter and Wife as well as a lover of all family history spending many hours documenting her findings.

Rather than a large, public memorial service, Patricia chose to be cremated and have her ashes spread under a tree to be planted at her beautiful home. There her family will be able to visit with her often and she will remain in the place that was always so special to her.
