It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ray Albert Hall, beloved husband, father and grandfather on November 23, 2024, at the age of 78.

Born on July 8, 1946 in Harrisburg, PA, Ray was the son of Louis Hall and Anita Frayre.

Ray served in the US Navy from 1966 to 1970. He was a carpenter by trade and later worked as a HVAC Technician for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania where he retired from in 2001.

Ray was an avid outdoorsman, often found hunting or fishing. He had an unwavering passion for the game of basketball with a 20+ year coaching career; coaching boys and girls at the elementary level through high school. The basketball court was his safe space. His dedication to coaching was truly inspiring, as he poured his heart into mentoring young players and sharing his love for the game.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Patricia A. Hall. He is survived by his wife, Mary, his daughters Alicia and Sara, and his grandson, Avery.

Ray will be greatly missed by all who knew him but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he loved.

A graveside burial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 12pm at the Middletown Cemetery. Fellowship to follow at the American Legion; and if you knew my dad, we're not dressing up!
