Roberta Lynn Ahmed, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 26, 2026 in Bridgeville, DE. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Nazir; her children, Rachel Ahmed and Audrey (Robert) Lubitz; 2 grandchildren; siblings Judy (the late David) Pollock and David (Rae) Steel; brother-in-law Kamal Ahmed; niece Dawn and nephews Steven and Freddy; and several grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter Grace; and siblings David, Larry, and Dorothy.

Roberta was deeply devoted to her religious beliefs and found identity and purpose in her faith, participating actively in her church and holding firmly to her convictions. Her relationships, particularly within her family, were often complicated. Despite these challenges, her presence left an undeniable imprint on those who knew her. She will be remembered in ways as varied as the experiences she created.

A private burial will take place on Friday, May 8th followed by a celebration of life to be held with friends and family in June at Crossroad Community Church in Georgetown, DE.
