Rodney Don Sweet passed away on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024 at Tidal Health Nanticoke in Seaford at the age of 76. He was born in Syracuse, New York on Thursday, January 8th, 1948 to Frederick Don Sweet and Dawn Elnora (Minckler) Sweet.

Rodney was a dedicated attorney (SU Law Degree) who spent his career helping those in need. He was a beloved member of the legal community and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Rodney is preceded in death by his father, Frederick Don Sweet, and his mother, Dawn Elnora Minkler. He is survived by his family, colleagues, and friends.

Service will be private. Per Rodney's wishes, he will be laid to rest next to his parents in upstate New York.
