Stacy Deann Layfield, 44, of Whaleyville, Maryland, passed away on April 27, 2026, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on May 21, 1981, Stacy was the beloved daughter of Carroll and Ginger Susan Layfield. She built a life centered on love, family, and a genuine dedication to brightening the lives of others. Known for her warm heart and quiet strength, Stacy had a remarkable ability to make people smile. She was funny, kind, and uplifting, always bringing light to those around her. She was a devoted big sister and a cherished aunt.

She is survived by her sister, Courtney, and her husband, Robbie, along with their two children, Kai and Paizley, all of whom she loved deeply. Stacy was preceded in death by her parents.

A 1999 graduate of Stephen Decatur High School, Stacy found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially spending time at the beach, listening to the ocean, and being with her family. Her love for people guided her throughout her career as a server at various restaurants, where she formed meaningful connections and brought comfort and happiness to so many.

Stacy will be remembered always for her kindness, her laughter, and the lasting impact she made on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
