Necessary Items for a Funeral Arrangement Conference

At Coffin Cremations, we understand that planning a funeral can be a daunting and emotional experience after losing a loved one. Our funeral arrangement conference is designed to provide compassionate and comprehensive support during this difficult time. During the conference, our experienced funeral director will meet with you to gather important information about your loved one, discuss their final wishes, and guide you through every step of the planning process. We will help you select the type of service that best honors your loved one’s memory, whether it be a burial or cremation. Our goal is to ensure that all your needs are met with dignity and respect, providing a meaningful and personalized tribute to your loved one. Below is a list of the necessary information and documents to help you prepare for our conference. 

Personal Information of your loved one:

  • Full Legal Name (including any maiden names)
  • Date and Place of Birth
  • Social Security Number
  • Full Legal Address
  • Marital Status and Spouse’s Name
  • Highest Level of Education
  • Occupation
  • Names of Parents (including mother’s maiden name)
  • Names and Relationships of Immediate Family Members
  • **Recent Photograph** of the deceased

Documentation:

  • Military Discharge Papers (DD-214) for veterans, if applicable
  • Insurance Policies, if utilized for funeral funding
  • Cemetery Documents/Information, if applicable 
  • Any Pre-Planned Funeral Arrangements
  • Obituary draft, if applicable
